Before I started stepping in the booth, I created instrumentals. Part of this was because I started learning how to use Logic – I wanted to learn how to make everything by myself. Looking back I had no clue how much work it would take but the drive to continuously create stayed the same. I stopped looping everything all the time, started learning where I can get really specific and turn a segment of an instrumental into something completely different. Eventually, I came to a point where writing lyrics to these instrumentals felt pointless. Not that I underappreciated my writing skills – moreso the instrumental was its own body of work. Since 2021 Ive been on a creative hunt of instrumentals that I simply cant put my pen to. Fast forward 3 years later Ive gathered 10 of these works.
